COURSE OVERVIEW

Learn about various aspects of restorative dentistry, including diagnostics, crown and bridge, and direct and indirect restorations. The course also discusses the importance of following instructions for dental materials and techniques to minimize sensitivity and failure. Topics covered include the importance of diagnostics in dentistry, the challenges of diagnostics, the use of artificial intelligence for radiographs, the importance of following instructions when using dental materials, the use of cloud-based dental software for easy access to images, and the importance of workflow in the dental office. 

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

After completing this webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Evaluate the benefits and applications of full volume CBCT in dental diagnostics and understand its role in identifying additional pathologies. 
  • Identify the common causes of sensitivity after dental fillings and explore strategies to minimize this common patient complaint.
  • Recognize the properties and advantages of using silver fluoride in dental procedures, including its role in destroying cariogenic bacteria, sealing dentinal tubules, and reducing tooth sensitivity.
  • Analyze the success rates of complete and partial caries removal in permanent teeth after 18 months and understand the implications for dental treatment planning and patient care.

Dr. Ron Kaminer is a national and international author, teacher and lecturer. He lectures around the world on new dental innovations and technology, teaching dentists how to incorporate these technologies tobetter serve their patients. He is considered a key opinion leader in the profession, respected member of the Catapult Elite speaking group, and has authored numerous articles on technology and minimally invasive dentistry. He was one of the first dentists in the country to utilize dental lasers in his practice and still continues to teach leaser dentistry worldwide.
