COURSE SPEAKER

It is widely known that access to care is a serious challenge across America. What we may not recognize is that we have the power to facilitate change. With noninvasive technologies and medical-dental integrative procedures, we can provide greater access to care and promote better overall health outcomes for patients.
With nearly three decades of experience in the dental industry, Crystal Spring, RDH, BS, LAP is an innovator and influencer in the mobile and public healthcare industries.
Crystal is the founder of Smiles Across Montana, a non-profit mobile dentistry organization that serves the state with access-to-care programs that are changing lives and building bridges between public health and organized dentistry. She loves connecting people and serves as the relationship development manager for onDiem. Her diverse resume also includes grant writing, speaking, and interprofessional education.
Crystal and her nonprofit team focus on a whole health approach to preventive services and work diligently to advance medical-dental integration into the healthcare system. Crystal works with several nursing schools to add the use of innovative technologies, such as the use of intraoral cameras, teledentistry, oral cancer screening, and preventive oral health services, into their curriculum.
She is a national award-winning RDH, receiving the 2017 ADHA/HuFriedy Master Clinician Award, the 2019 Sunstar RDH Award of Distinction, the 2020 Today’s RDH Honor Award, and the 2021 Dimensions Six Dental Hygienists You Want To Know. She was also recognized as a 2023 Denobi award winner for her outstanding contributions to the dental industry.
Crystal is a past president of the Montana Dental Hygienists Association and has served on the ADHA Board of Trustees. She serves on the RDH editorial advisory board. Recognized as a key opinion leader, she is frequently featured in industry podcasts and publications.
Through her speaking and mentorship programs, Crystal’s spirited approach to leadership and advocacy shines through, as does her passion for public health, the advancement of medical-dental integration, and optimal healthcare for all.
