COURSE OVERVIEW
Join our PharmaDocs to stay up to date on the latest in pharmacology!
PharmaDocs monthly webcasts are 1 hour in length, discussing new drugs & medications recently approved by the FDA. Join Dr. Jay Reznick & Dr. John Roberson as they discuss what those drugs are and their uses, how they affect dental treatment, and what drugs used or prescribed by dentists might interact with them. The PharmaDocs then continues the conversation in various related topics, such as non-narcotic analgesics, opioids, and antibiotics, as well as discussing how to recognize and manage medical emergencies in the dental office.
John Roberson, DDS, FACD and Jay Reznick, DMD, MD are the PharmaDocs. They came up with the concept of bringing pertinent information on pharmacology to dentists who are in the trenches, seeing patients every day. These patients are on an increasing number of unfamiliar medications that have an impact on treatment. Drs. Reznick and Roberson are both in private practice, and they are in the same trenches, constantly needing to keep up with new drugs ourselves. The PharmaDocs want to share their ongoing pharmacology education with all their dental colleagues. Join the PharmaDocs as they present this important information to dentists in the form of an informal discussion.
