COURSE OVERVIEW
Join us for a comprehensive one-hour multi-disciplinary webinar led by Dr. Diwakar Kinra, an endodontist; a panel discussion by Dr. Erin Elliott and Dr. Josh Austin, both general dentists; and Dr. David Wong, a periodontist. Dr. Diwakar Kinra grew up in Flint, MI, and attended Powers Catholic High School. He received his dental degree from the University of Michigan, School of Dentistry, in 1999. At that time he proceeded into private practice for the next 3 years. In 2002, he returned to obtain his master’s degree in endodontics at the University of Detroit-Mercy, School of Dentistry. In 2004, after the completion of his postgraduate degree, he immediately returned home to begin his solo private practice limited to endodontics in Flint, MI.
Dr. Kinra has spoken on clinical endodontics and practice management since 2005. He has spoken at over 20 universities domestically and internationally. In 2008 Dr. Kinra also accepted a dual position as an adjunct professor at The University of Detroit-Mercy endodontic and periodontic departments.
In his spare time Dr. Kinra is very active spending time with his son and triplet daughters. He also enjoys playing tennis, water sports, snowboarding, and anything outdoors. He owes much of his success to his wife of twelve years, Disha Kinra.
Dr. David Wong is a native Oklahoman who followed in the footsteps of his parents by attending the University of Oklahoma, where he completed his dental degree. His advanced training in periodontics was accomplished at the University of Missouri-Kansas City where he served as chief resident and scored a perfect 100% on his in-service examination—the highest in the country. He has also completed advanced implant and oral plastic surgery training from Temple University as well as from such world-renowned institutions as the Misch International Implant Institute and the Dental Implant Institute of Las Vegas.
Since entering into private practice in 2003, he has published articles in the field of oral plastic surgery, and he has also been a guest lecturer at the Oklahoma Dental Association, Oklahoma Dental Hygiene Association, and Tulsa Community College, among others. He recently received his fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, the only periodontist in Oklahoma to reach this achievement. In addition, in 2005, Dr. Wong became the first Tulsa periodontist since 1969 to be board certified by the American Board of Periodontologists.

Dr. Erin Elliott grew up in Southern California. After playing college soccer at Houghton College, Dr. Elliott graduated from Creighton University Dental School in 2003. She immediately moved to northern Idaho, joined a practice as an associate and later became an owner partner at Post Falls Family Dental.
Dr. Erin loves to help general dentists get started with sleep apnea implementation and extend this life-saving service to their patients. She is the past president and diplomate of the American Sleep and Breathing Academy.

Joshua Austin, DDS, maintains a full-time restorative dentistry private practice in San Antonio, TX. He is an editorial director and columnist for Dental Economics magazine, focusing on dental products and technology. Dr. Austin lectures around the country to study clubs and dental meetings about these topics along with online reputation management and mental health. Dr. Austin is a graduate of the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School.
