COURSE OVERVIEW
Presenting comprehensive or complex dentistry to patients in a busy practice can often be challenging. Objections, finances, questions, and lack of understanding consequences are common issues dentists face when speaking with patients. As a result, they often focus only on what the patient’s chief complaint is or worse, only what their insurance will cover. Combined with the challenge of not knowing how to approach a complex case, many dentists present cavities, broken teeth, and obvious concerns only.
In order to influence our patients to accept complete treatment plans, we first need to understand the bigger and less visible issues of occlusion, force distribution, TMJ, and long-term changes that occur in patients with complex or mutilated dentition. We then need to learn how to build value in choosing complete restorative dentistry rather than one-crown-at-a-time choices.
This webinar focuses on a guided approach to case presentation, in simple and complex patient treatment solutions, and how to develop your own style of communication with your patients to help them choose the right treatment. From single-crown to full-mouth rehabilitation, this webinar provides a systematic approach to providing information and value to patients needing more comprehensive dentistry
