COURSE OVERVIEW
Restoring a patient’s smile — particularly when it comes to the anterior teeth — is one of the most rewarding aspects of dentistry, despite its many challenges. From evaluating the condition of the existing tooth, to its overall color, shape, structure and position, there are many factors at play when determining an appropriate restoration technique and restorative material to achieve the most functional, esthetic result. Join Dr. Edward Lowe, a practicing dentist, published author and international lecturer, for a deep dive into the clinical tactics and best practices of indirect anterior restorations.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Dr. Lowe will share his step-by-step approach, illustrated by several case reviews, touching upon aspects such as:
- How to determine when an indirect restoration is the most suitable course of action
- Advantages of indirect restorative techniques compared to direct restorative techniques for anterior teeth
- Common workflow challenges related to retraction, impression taking and bonding, and how to overcome them
- Material considerations to ensure predictable, esthetic results
