John Hexem, PhD, MD, is a board-certified anesthesiologist whose distinguished career includes serving on a nationally renowned liver transplant team.

Dr. Hexem earned BS and MS degrees in Chemistry from Yale University. Following the completion of an MD degree from the University of Cincinnati, Dr. Hexem attained a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania, where he also performed his residency in anesthesia. Dr. Hexem was also awarded fellowships in Chemistry and Anesthesiology at the University of Pennsylvania
