Dr. Diwakar Kinra grew up in Flint, MI, and attended Powers Catholic High School. He received his dental degree from the University of Michigan, School of Dentistry, in 1999. At that time he proceeded into private practice for the next 3 years. In 2002, he returned to obtain his master’s degree in endodontics at the University of Detroit-Mercy, School of Dentistry. In 2004, after the completion of his postgraduate degree, he immediately returned home to begin his solo private practice limited to endodontics in Flint, MI. 

Dr. Kinra has spoken on clinical endodontics and practice management since 2005. He has spoken at over 20 universities domestically and internationally. In 2008 Dr. Kinra also accepted a dual position as an adjunct professor at The University of Detroit-Mercy endodontic and periodontic departments. 

In his spare time Dr. Kinra is very active spending time with his son and triplet daughters. He also enjoys playing tennis, water sports, snowboarding, and anything outdoors. He owes much of his success to his wife of twelve years, Disha Kinra.
